Fernbrook Lodge

The breakfast had both continental and hot options, and there’s a proper Italian coffee machine for the morning. Glennis made us feel at home in this lovely old country house, with a warm log fire. Our room was spacious, the bed was excellent, the hot water came straight away, and the wifi worked well.

The port in the room was a lovely way to wind down at the end of the day, and I’d happily return to Fernbrook lodge. I spent part of my Easter break there on a road trip to Sydney. The Dorrigo scenery is amazing, and Glennis treated me like family. I’d recommend the cooked breakfast and coffee for a good start to the day. I’m already looking forward to coming back next school holiday and seeing the entertainment extension, where the boys were working hard.

After our walks in the nearby National Parks, the warm welcome and afternoon tea were a lovely bonus. Dinner was one of the best home farm meals, shared with the charming host and another guest in a relaxed, pleasant setting. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone passing through Dorrigo or visiting the surrounding national parks. A top experience and great value for money.

We left feeling refreshed. The host looked after us so well and welcomed us with a cuppa. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was great, and the views were beautiful. It’s only five minutes from town.
