The beach is close, with kids' play equipment, a club and cafe across the road, plus paths for walking, bikes and scooters. Shoal and Nelson bays are close enough for an outing if you tire of the beach. I've stayed in the same apartment a few times. It's comfortable and a good size, but come prepared: the kitchen only has basic utensils, some furniture is old and hasn't been fixed or replaced in years, and the beds are very hard. Each apartment is individually owned, and it seems most are available to rent.
