Marianne even took the time to post the little sock our toddler had lost. We also got to explore her large home garden, which was a real treat. Our stay in September 2023 was wonderful, even if this review is a bit late. The rooms were clean and looked after, with the rustic feel we expected :). We loved having fresh, nutritious breakfast on the verandah, while our toddler ran around the grounds. It was peaceful both day and night. Thank you, Marianne!

Adrian made delicious breakfasts each morning and was full of helpful tips for our day trips. We had a really lovely romantic weekend at rusticspirit. The cabin was warm and cosy, just right for getting away from everything. Five-star service and location. We’ll be back.

The sunny veranda breakfast Adrian served was a highlight, along with morning dog walks. We came back to Rustic Spirit for my wife’s birthday and enjoyed it every bit as much as our first visit. The Piks treetop cabin is beautiful and peaceful, especially curling up by the log fire. It’s right in the heart of Bilpin, near Hillbilly and Bilpin cider, and made for a perfect winter escape in the Blue Mountains. We’ll definitely return someday.

Marianne is a fantastic host, and the home-cooked meals in the main guesthouse are a treat, simple, delicious, made with local produce and served with a smile. Every visit, we’re met with genuine warmth, and nothing we ask for feels like too much trouble. The cabins have everything you need for a relaxing break from the city, including a fireplace and spa bath. My favourite place on the mountain. Can’t wait to come back!

It was lovely waking up to wildlife, and the fresh breakfast was a real highlight of our relaxing weekend at Rustic Spirit. We brought our dog, enjoyed the wood burner and spa bath, and will be back. We had trouble getting the oven started, our own fault, but really appreciated Marianne coming out late in the evening to help us get it going.
