Kondalilla Eco Resort

The location is beautiful, but the Tree House Cabin needs maintenance and refurbishment, and the booking website photos didn't match its current condition. We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary and were very disappointed. We thought the cabin included a spa bath based on the booking site's description. Only after we arrived and ran the spa did a small sign tell us it had been decommissioned. Nobody mentioned this when we booked or checked in. If we'd known, we would have paid to upgrade to other accommodation so we could have the amenities we expected. The advertised king bed was two singles pushed together, with both mattresses sagging badly in the middle. They were so uncomfortable that we slept worse than on our camping blow up mattress. For the price, we expected more comfort and luxury; the linens and towels also fell short of resort standards. A seafood platter at The Terrace at Maleny Seafood Restaurant and breakfast at the resort restaurant were the highlights, and helped salvage an otherwise underwhelming stay. I hope the feedback is taken constructively. The property has potential with more transparency and attention to detail.

Pure relaxation, and such a lovely way to spend our birthday and anniversary weekend. We stayed in the spa haven, which was comfortable and had extra luxuries and amenities. We also had an in room massage with Sabrina and Simone, two of the best masseuses we've had. Everyone, from reception to the restaurant staff, brought serenity and exceptional hospitality. Lisa went above and beyond, and Caleb, the waiter superstar, was incredibly welcoming, with good banter that made the stay memorable. The only fault was having to go home. Thank you for everything!

I've been to Kondalilla Eco Restaurant for both lunch and breakfast, and the service has been consistently wonderful. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Set among lush greenery, the place feels peaceful and grounding, adding a lot to the experience. Staff are genuinely welcoming and very accommodating, even with larger groups, so it's great for gatherings or celebrations. Whether you're having coffee in the morning light or lunch among the trees, there's a lovely mix of flavor and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who wants good food in a beautiful natural setting. A big thank you to the staff.

I booked a studio, but the site was under maintenance and there were no other guests, so they upgraded me to a treehouse cabin for free. The staff are always helpful and happy to answer questions, handle requests, or offer recommendations. I've been coming every 4-5 years, and it gets better each time.
