Cherry Blossom Motel

We booked late and found this place by chance. The rooms were well laid out, spotless, and had appliances that all worked. Breakfast is included, and the price was reasonable. They suggested booking direct next time instead of through Expedia or Booking.com, and I'd definitely come back. It's clearly run really well, no surprise the car park is full. Congratulations.

For a fair price, this motel was in the right place at the right time. But when I asked to stay another night, they flat-out refused any discount. They'd rather leave the room empty than offer repeat customers a lower rate. That's a way to run a business, I suppose, but it loses the personal touch and doesn't encourage people to come back. Good luck with it all.

The breakfast room had a nice range of cereal, toast, fruit and drinks. The motel was in a lovely location, with friendly staff and a clean, comfortable room. The heater was great and there were electric blankets on the bed. The car park is cramped, though, and there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

My sister stayed four nights and extended twice. There wasn't even a thank-you for extending, let alone a discount. The rooms are pretty average and need a refresh, and the staff could be happier that anyone wants to stay there. No wonder nearby hotels are always full. You pay your money and sleep. To management's reply: this isn't about housekeeping offers. We understand the breakfast mix-up. My nephew is four and was trying to help by putting the items in the bin, just an honest mistake. Not offering a discount for a long stay isn't a great way to do business, and she still wasn't thanked for extending.
