Work brings me to Young, and staying here feels like being at home. Mark and Melissa are lovely, and they make me feel welcome and comfortable, like nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and have what you need. If something's missing, the friendly staff will go out of their way to get it for you. I'll be back again and again and again!

I spent two nights here on a road trip with my Indian Springfield. The owner and staff were great, and went out of their way to help. My recently renovated room was small but had everything I needed. It's at the top end of town, close to the CBD. I'll stay here when I come back to Young. Highly recommend it.

The rates are reasonable, and everything was neat, clean and well presented, with the creature comforts you'd expect. It's within walking distance of the town's main attractions and shops, which makes the location ideal. We were very happy with our stay.

At $110, I got a better stay here than at plenty of places that cost twice as much. I travel regularly, and this was the best value I've had all year. The buildings look very ordinary, but the rooms have been renovated recently. The bathroom was lovely, with a big shower, and parking was free and convenient. Everything was on ground level, and check-in and checkout took only a few minutes. I was rushing, so I only grabbed a banana from breakfast, but there was a good selection of juices, toast and spreads, fruit, and heaps of cereal varieties. There were pillows of different thicknesses, which I appreciated. I use a CPAP machine, and those huge plump pillows that won't compress comfortably are a pain. The toilet paper was decent too, not the cheap tracing-paper stuff some places use, and there was plenty under the bathroom sink. I stayed at two other hotels that same week, both two or three times the price, and they seemed to ration the TP. Restaurants are within walking distance. I barely spoke with the staff beyond checking in, but they were nice enough. It seemed like a family business, with the kids at the desk and mum mucking out the rooms.
