The room was bigger than we expected, with a great layout, and was immaculate and clean. The pool was sparkling, and we enjoyed sitting in the shade undercover with a few drinks. We were offered pool towels when we arrived on a hot day, and found out we could've bought drinks at reception, though we had our own. We had a trailer on the car and asked about parking on the street. The friendly, professional gentleman who greeted us showed us a spot on the property, even undercover. Dinner ordered through room service came quickly from the club across the road and was great. Breakfast portions were generous too. We'd highly rate this place and will stay again next time we're in Young.

After a long day on the road, the warm, friendly welcome really stood out. The staff showed what great customer service looks like. The whole property was spotless and well maintained, including the pool, parking, reception and our room. You can see that the team takes pride in how the place is presented. It's conveniently close to the Young Services Club, and the EV charging terminals were in good working order and well maintained.

I've stayed twice now, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Young. The rooms are huge, modern and super clean, with comfy beds and excellent aircon. The shower has hot water and strong flow, not one of those annoying water saver heads. The motel is owned and run by the Young Services Club across the road. You get a free club membership card, with member discounts on food and drinks.

For the annual Young Cherry Festival, rooms need to be booked well ahead, and in January 2025 the hotel was already full for the 2025 festival. A friendly, helpful manager told me they'd make a waiting list and we'd be first if anyone cancelled. In June, we called to check and the same person confirmed we were still on it. At the end of October, we asked again and were shocked to learn we'd somehow dropped to number 12. The manager remembered our earlier conversations, but seemed completely indifferent. There was no apology or explanation. What happened to customer service? The hotel has very good reviews and seems to be the best motel in the area, which makes this disappointing. I suppose a popular country hotel that expects to be fully booked doesn't necessarily care much about good service.

The reception staff were friendly, and it felt like a well-run motel. Our room was quiet, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. There was a wide, comfortable lounge, though we were short on time to enjoy it since we made the most of the member discount at the Services club about 100 metres away for dinner. The bed was more comfortable than the one at home, and the bright, large bathroom felt homely rather than like a typical motel bathroom. It even had a bath. This is probably the best motel I've stayed at in a very long time. Thank you!
