The views are beautiful, and the staff were genuinely helpful. The amenities were dated, though someone had clearly made an effort to clean them. The park's general appearance and tidiness were disappointing, and the overflowing industrial skip bins smelled rotten. At $45 for a power and water site, it felt far too expensive given the state of the park. The broken, uneven slabs also made it really hard to level our van. Honestly, if we hadn't had an issue that needed attention, we would've left straight away. I feel bad being negative, but I don't want to mislead anyone. I hope someone takes pride in the place and does justice to those views. Then I wouldn't mind paying $45.

The meals were as good as, or better than, anywhere else we've stayed, and the service from the hotel staff was outstanding. It's so close to the beach, a real hidden gem. The rooms are dated, though.

Watching the NRL Grand Final over a meal at FBH was a treat. Best pub meal I've had in a long time, and my steak was cooked perfectly. The young staff were so professional and personable, as well as super friendly and helpful. Well done, FBH! Andrea and Robert
