The motel made it easy to get around on foot, and we spent three nights in a really good room. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. We also recommend the all-you-can-eat Chinese at the bowling club, you can call for the courtesy bus. We’ll be back.

A short walk gets you to the beach or rock pools, and cafes and restaurants are easy to reach too. We had a spa room at this budget-friendly motel. It was clean, smelled fresh, and had reasonably comfortable beds and linen. Nothing fancy, and the bathroom is dated and could use some attention, though the spa worked perfectly. I forgot to take a photo of the room.

We stayed with our two-year-old, who slept on an inflatable bed, and there was plenty of space for the three of us in the spa room. The room itself was fine, though the spa bath looked worn and its taps leaked when turned on. I also noticed a few other small condition issues for the price, so I couldn't give it five stars. Being beside a main road, some traffic noise is to be expected.

We stayed for one night and had a great time. The staff were polite and helpful, especially after my wife left her dress in the wardrobe. We called, and they mailed it straight out to us. The only drawback was the shower pressure, which was pretty weak.

RU Niu was a caring, considerate and very kind manager. Our room was clean and private, and the motel is close to the beach as well as some great cafes and restaurants. My partner and I plan to stay again on our next visit to Forster.
