We checked in late and had no trouble thanks to the motel's self check-in kiosk. The complex has a pool and sits right across from Woolworths, handy for topping up on car snacks. Our room was clean, very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a little worn and dated, but everything worked perfectly. A great little overnight stop on a trip to Brisbane. We'd stay again.

The king bed and pillows were soft and so comfortable, and the motel was extremely clean and quiet. There's a shopping complex nearby and a tavern next door with a great play area for kids. The lady at the front desk was lovely too. We've stayed at Island Palms Motor inn twice in the last 10 days while travelling to see family, and we'll definitely stay again.

We've stayed at the Island Palms many times and keep appreciating how quiet the rooms are, set back from the road. They're comfortable, clean and well appointed, in a nice spot with easy access to shops and the coast. Highly recommended.

It was quiet and relaxing, and though the location is a little out of town, the beach, cafes and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away. The room was tidy and clean, and we had the benefit of a spa bath. From the moment we arrived, Gail made us feel very welcome.

The tavern is just a few steps away, with amazing Chinese and Asian food, so dinner was easy without cooking or driving. Stockland shopping centre is also only a five-minute walk, though the accommodation itself is peaceful. Gayle and Glenn were fantastic hosts and made every request feel easy. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and will be back 😊
