The lake is lovely to sit beside at dusk, and this place is good value with lovely staff. Our visit happened while construction was going on right next door, though it should be a peaceful spot once that's finished. The shower space is very small, and there's a big step behind you, so be careful not to step backwards.

The lakeside setting is fantastic, but there isn't much here to keep families with older kids occupied for more than a day. The playground and pool are tiny and seem mainly suited to toddlers. A trampoline, community hall or other simple activities would help. It feels short on basic facilities for children.

The park is tidy and well maintained, and the pool is beautiful. Our premium lakefront van site, unfortunately, was beside a very smelly swampy area. As we were packing up, a tradesman said he was meant to come clean it up, and that he had a big job ahead. Hopefully the lakefront atmosphere improves.

We had a large family group at Lakeside Forster and stayed in the six-sleeper lakeside cabin. Waking up to that serene lake view was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable, the cabin was remarkably clean when we checked in, and the park facilities were well kept. Staff were very friendly and quick to respond to questions. I couldn't be happier with the accommodation and am already planning a longer stay next year.

We brought our vintage Kombis for a wedding and had an absolute blast at Lakeside Forster. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are great, and everything was top notch. If you're getting married nearby, get in touch with us at Krusin Kombis, and book this park too! 🎉🚐
