Wake up to views over Kangaroo Bay, then after a day exploring and tasting the local produce, unwind on the deck at sunset. Mon's place is a great base for the Huon Valley, D'Entrecasteaux Channel and/or Bruny Island, just a stone's throw from Cygnet. The cupboards are well stocked, there's practically every household appliance you could need, and we really appreciated the welcome basket. It's a fabulous place to stay, and we're looking forward to visiting again. Mon also happens to be a wonderful poet!

The homemade preserves and condiments added to the cosy, homely feel. It's such a peaceful, lovely spot, with a glorious view across Cygnet bay towards Adamson 's Peak. Seeing the southern aurora was a special treat. Excellent!

The property is impeccable, clean and beautifully furnished, with a really nice layout. We spent five glorious nights with Mon, who went above and beyond to look after us. The views are incredible, and we'd love to come back.
