We found the full breakfast was cheaper than going out, and drinks at the rooftop bar cost less than at the local pubs. It's a new hotel, and it really stands out. Lovely rooms and facilities, and an absolute winner for a weekend by the waterfront.

My partner booked us two nights in Geelong for a friend's wedding, and we had a lovely time at Crowne Plaza Geelong. The waterfront views made it feel special, while the room was beautiful and the service warm and welcoming. The atmosphere felt both elegant and relaxing, just right for a getaway and some quality time together.

For my graduation, my family and I stayed one night. The hotel was right across the road from the ceremony venue, which made getting there so convenient. Check-in was great, and the woman at reception was friendly and helpful. The room had a cosy feel, with the basic amenities, and was beautifully designed, especially the bathroom. My one gripe was the bedding. The mattress felt stiff, the doona and sheets weren't soft, and my partner and I found the pillows uncomfortable. I tried the couch pillow instead; it wasn't much better, but felt more comfortable than the bed pillow. I know bedding is personal, but wanted to share the feedback. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back if we're in the Geelong area again.

The rooftop bar is great, and the staff were lovely and quick to respond. There were a couple of teething issues since the hotel has just opened, but we had a great time. It stands head and shoulders above its competitors.
