I’d never checked out of a hotel early before, but I left this one three days into a four-night booking. I’d paid for a one-bedroom apartment and was given a studio instead. It was half the size, with a tiny balcony, communal laundry, and a rock-hard bed. I contacted Quest Geelong Central to sort it out, but they were unhelpful and told me to speak to my booking agent, taking no responsibility. The first night’s sleep was awful, and the hard bed left my back sore. Quest didn’t offer or arrange a refund. My relaxing family break ended up costing more than it should have. The two complimentary Tim Tams were a small upside.

The complimentary transfers to and from Geelong Station made the trip so easy, and the staff gave us excellent, friendly service throughout. Our three-bedroom apartment at Quest Geelong Central was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a relaxing girls’ weekend. We loved our getaway and highly recommend it for a convenient, enjoyable stay in Geelong.

We booked at the last minute because the place was pet friendly and bushfire smoke had engulfed our farm stay. We arrived with our border collie and realised we’d missed the button to say we were bringing a dog. The staff quickly dog-proofed the room and made us feel welcome. The team and facilities are fantastic, and the roof deck is amazing, with a guest lounge up there too. Highly recommend.

We’ve only just arrived, but the hotel and facilities already made a big impression. It’s wonderful to find a genuinely dog-friendly hotel when travelling with our two dogs, and we’re really looking forward to the rest of our stay tonight. Greg was incredibly helpful and welcoming with our last-minute booking. When we called back, Polly handled the booking with friendly, efficient, thoughtful service. I’ve worked in hotels for over 10 years, so I know great service when I see it. Greg and the team deserve recognition. We’re very happy to be here. 🐾😊

The rooftop BBQ area is well worth checking out, and the views are amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our room was spacious and clean.
