We were there for Jimmy Carr, who was dreadful, but the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room was roomy, clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It's right opposite the Arts Centre, which couldn't have been more convenient. Parking was easy, and check-in was straightforward. We enjoyed our one night here.

I've stayed here a few times for work and also picked it for a holiday. The beds are full sized and very comfortable, with great pillows, and I've never had noise trouble. The big renovation left everything looking modern and shnazzy. The TV is decent and easy to stream on. Breakfast buffet is tasty and plentiful, and you can order eggs made how you like. Street parking is metered but easy to find. Downstairs, the table service restaurant is very nice, and the bar menu is reasonably priced with plenty of staff. It's an easy walk to all the good things in the cbd.

The pool was freezing, even though we booked specifically because the website described it as a warm water pool. That was disappointing. The hotel itself was great, very clean and well kept, and all the staff were kind and nice.

The Arts Centre is just across the street, and there's secure underground parking. The hotel is brand new and delivered what you'd hope for: friendly service, spotless rooms, plush towels, and a great breakfast buffet. Highly recommend it.

This was my second stay at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, and once again the service was excellent. Everyone was warm and welcoming from check-in through check-out. There was a small cleanliness issue this time, but it was handled very professionally. Shayan, the Front Office Manager, followed up with me personally and made sure it was sorted with real care. Thanks to Kartik, Lalit, and Dilip on the front office team for their hospitality. Happy New Year to everyone, and I hope to stay again.
