Castlereagh Motor Inn

After two weeks on the road, the cheapest motel turned out to be my best stay. I got the last room at 7 p.m. while heading north on an interstate motorcycle trip. I only needed a comfortable bed, a clean room, and a hot shower, and this place delivered all of that easily. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. It's just out of town on the highway, and the parking is out of sight of the road. I'll be back.

We arrived at 8 p.m. in a prime mover, and they had no problem with that, including parking the truck right outside our room. The room was fabulous, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the TV was huge, and the shower was the best I'd had in days. It's right off the highway, but we didn't hear any road noise. Thanks for having us. We'll come back on our next trip south.

It may be an old room, but it was very clean. The huge TV was lovely, and they supplied cutlery, plates, bowls, and even biscuits, which was a nice surprise compared with some other motels.

A lovely, affordable motel with what a traveller needs. It's a bit out of town, but if you're passing through, you've got a car anyway. What a hidden gem, it won't disappoint.
