After a full day of driving, that hot shower was just what I needed. The room had the useful little extras too, like tea, coffee, bickies and really soft towels. There’s a good pub feed within walking distance, and the Cafe next door does a wonderful breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

We booked at the last minute while heading from Cairns to Brisbane. Karina was great about answering my late check-in questions, then sent a detailed message with the arrangements. The rooms have an older style, though the decor and soft furnishings seemed fairly new. We slept comfortably, and the room had already been cooled for us. Thanks, Karina.

We were stranded north of Gin Gin after a major breakdown in the middle of the night. Even though the place was full and it was 10, Karina found room for our large family. She went out of her way to give us somewhere safe, warm and clean to sleep after a really rough ordeal. The beds were comfortable, and after hours by the highway, the water pressure felt like a godsend.

The staff were courteous, and it was handy having a Cafe and hotel nearby for meals. Our room was older but very clean, with a comfortable bed, a large shower and good-sized coffee mugs.

The room had all the facilities and was clean and comfortable, even though the motel is older. The woman at reception was friendly and followed up on my requests. She also rang to let me know I’d left my tablet behind and offered to mail it to me. I really appreciated that.
