I was disappointed by my recent stay at the Latrobe Motel in Morwell. The room was in extremely poor condition and needs serious maintenance. The curtains were broken and torn, the toilet seat was broken, the bathroom tiles were cracked, and there was even a spider in the room. All of that made the stay uncomfortable and far below an acceptable standard for paid accommodation. Given the state of the room, I believe a refund is reasonable and would like my payment reimbursed. Please let me know how to arrange it. I have several photos to support my complaint if needed.

After spending a year and a bit at Always Welcome, I found this place. No offence to the old place, whose management are delightful too, but this feels like paradise. Latrobe Motel is affordable and a great spot for a hot shower and comfortable bed at a reasonable price, especially when you’re homeless but able to pay.

The room smelled of mould and was very cold because of the draughts coming through holes. The shower swung between boiling hot and freezing cold, and the fridge had been switched off and was leaking water. I couldn’t recommend it.
