Kanasta Caravan Park

Kanasta found us a cabin for the night when we needed a pet-friendly caravan park. The camping site we’d tried before had turned down Matilda, my therapy dog in training, so I took her for a walk when we arrived. She gave the place her “Matilda's Sniff of Appreciation,” which seemed a great sign! The bunk beds were comfy, and the beach is an easy walk away. Four stars from me.

My daughter and I had a lovely five-night stay. The cabin was cosy and clean, with Rye Pier close by. It’s a lovely area, and we’ll definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our three nights at Kanasta and were well looked after. The shared bathrooms were beautiful and well maintained, and the barbecue area was too. Rye Pier is about a 10-minute walk. In the cabin there were two TVs with Netflix, plenty of dishes and cutlery, sugar, salt, milk in the fridge, and a useful hairdryer. After checkout they stored our luggage free, and someone even came by early in the morning to show us how to use the stove. I’d definitely stay again!

The staff we met were friendly and helpful, and we’d happily stay again. Our two-bedroom cabin at Kanasta was bright, spacious and spotless, with comfortable beds and a hot shower with good pressure. It’s on a lovely quiet street close to the main shops and Rye Pier. The playground is better suited to older kids, though my two-year-old still had fun. We spent three nights there and had a great stay.
