Vanessa, the manager, was so welcoming and caring. We were travelling with an 89 year old, and she couldn't have been more helpful with everything we asked. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the air con cooled well with a quiet setting. We stayed last night and this will be our motel for every visit to Gladstone.

If I could give it zero, I would. The sofa bed linen was dirty, and the lounges were so dusty that sitting down sent a visible cloud into the air. Worst of all, I got bites all over my arms and legs and believe there were bed bugs. When I called to report it, they blamed me instead of taking responsibility. The cleanliness was poor and the customer service terrible. Don't stay unless you want to risk being bitten.

The front desk gentleman was especially considerate of my elderly mother and my 3 year old daughter, and made sure we had a comfortable night. We were travelling from Airlie to Gympie and stopped here for one night on the way back. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a good sleep. The motel is close to the marina and some nice restaurants. We'd stopped at a well-known hotel on the way to Airlie, but this motel was far better. We'll definitely stay again.

The room smelled fresh and clean as soon as we walked in, and the spa bath was such a relaxing treat after a day of travelling and exploring. Wish we'd booked more than one night.

Bed bugs all over the mattresses, by the look of it. Don't stay here unless you want to leave covered in bites and spots.
