Evanslea Luxury Boutique Accommodation

The gardens were lovely and peaceful, with the grounds stretching right down to the river. Our cottage was clean and nicely appointed, and breakfast provisions were provided. We also found a great cheese platter and wine waiting for us on arrival. Thanks for having us, we'd recommend it and hope to return.

We barely wanted to leave the beautiful garden, and Stacey and her team made us feel so at home that leaving was even harder. Evanslea is also well placed: we could walk into town for the Farmer's Market, Sculpture Park, pubs and shops, and the cellar doors were only minutes away, with great food and wine plus a lovely small brewery. We had a fabulous Easter weekend and will definitely be back.

Our family who stayed on site and all our guests are still talking about the gorgeous setting and how fantastic the staff were. We held our wedding at Evanslea two weeks ago, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The grounds are stunning, but the people are what bring the place to life. Stacey was kind, patient and so understanding to work with, and you feel like you've known her forever. Her husband Phil worked tirelessly to get the grounds ready for our day, while their lovely family helped everything run smoothly behind the scenes. We spent three nights in Orchard Cottage and found the gardens and lake so lovely that we hated to leave. It felt secluded, even though town was so close. The cottage was beautiful, and the pool was a good size for a swim. We've visited Mudgee many times, but this was our first stay at Evanslea. We'll choose it from now on. Thank you.
