We had three lovely nights and would come back. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the air con handled the heat wave beautifully. There was cold bottled water in the fridge, and staff were friendly and helpful, even changing the bins each day. Parking was right outside the room, off the street, and would suit a motorcycle too. The pool was great for a much needed dip, and the main street is only a short walk away. There's also a classic old pub next door for afternoon beers and a nice meal.

A big thank you to the motel manager for being so understanding and accommodating. We booked at the last minute because of unforeseen circumstances, and the hospitality really meant a lot to us.

Our accommodation elsewhere cancelled for the October long weekend, and Wanderlight managed to find us a room, seemingly one of the last available in all of Mudgee. The service was amazing. We especially appreciated that they didn't raise the price when we were in a difficult spot.

I was in town overnight for work. The room was clean and spacious, with three bottles of water and two small long-life milks in the fridge.

I appreciated the decaffeinated coffee especially, as I have to avoid regular coffee for medical reasons. There was plenty of tea and coffee generally, and the linen and room were very clean. Even with the hotel full, it was quiet. The building looks like it might have old fittings, but it has key card entry and modern bathroom fixtures, except for the shower taps, which could use an update. Parking was plentiful, and I liked the covered spaces for frosty mornings so I wouldn't have to defrost the windscreen. A lovely hotel, and I'd definitely return.
