Perry Street Hotel

This is now our favourite place to stay in Mudgee. The rooms were clean, welcoming and comfortable, and there was plenty of off-street parking. It’s an easy 300-metre stroll into town, with a fantastic PUB on the opposite corner. We’ve stayed at a few different places here and would highly recommend this one. Awesome hotel.

The upstairs veranda is a lovely spot to watch the world go by, and the building has been beautifully converted. Our spacious room was well appointed, with a kitchenette, beautiful robes and slippers, and a great selection of French teas plus a few complimentary treats. It made a lovely home base for our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly every time we spoke with them. Great spot.

We enjoyed a lovely local Merlot on the veranda with new friends while a fantastic storm rolled by. The minibar selection was great, and the in-room wine wasn’t overcharged like it is at the big chains. Late self-check-in was easy, and the stay was super quiet. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and the bath amenities and robe were a nice touch. It’s priced just right for a luxury weekend away, and it lives up to its reputation as the number one hotel in town.

The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay at The Perry Street Hotel. The room was comfortable, with a small lounge area, kitchenette, coffee and snacks. It’s in a great spot, one street from the Main Street shops and cafes, across from a newly renovated hotel. The old building has been turned into a boutique hotel, and the entrance, reception and rooms all look lovely while keeping the character of its heritage. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.
