The room was tight with our two big suitcases, and the bedroom TV wasn't a smart TV. I knew the living areas and kitchen were shared, but hadn't realised the owner shared them too. Still, it was great value for money. The bed was comfy, the ensuite lovely, and the outside area was nice, with kookaburras dropping in. Everything was very clean, the Wi-Fi was good, and the owners were friendly. Breakfast included cereal, toast, and toppings, and you could also cook in the kitchen. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac with space to park, and Bowling Club is an easy walk for a meal.

Jen was amazing, and the host was great. Rooms were super neat, with a modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast had lots to choose from. It's excellent value, and everything is a short drive away despite the quiet location.

Outside is a lovely place to unwind and watch the birds, and as my husband put it, staying here feels like being at an auntie's house. Jen and her husband are lovely, accommodating hosts. The house is spotless and has everything you need, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. Definitely recommend!

The property was clean and well maintained, but the host's behaviour made us very uncomfortable throughout our stay. We tried to arrive before the requested 8pm cutoff and communicated our situation in advance. Even though we got there more than five minutes early, the host seemed irritated and hostile. She rudely asked if we knew we had to pay, as though we weren't going to, which felt insulting and unprofessional. That evening I asked whether we could use the microwave after 8pm because of the posted cooking restrictions. The host said, in an annoyed tone, that it was allowed. But when my girlfriend went to heat our food and switched on one small kitchen light, the host appeared and berated her aggressively. Nobody had mentioned any restriction on lights, either in our conversation or in a posted notice. My girlfriend made no excessive noise, she just heated food and turned on the light. The next morning, the host's friends ignored our polite greetings and stared blankly instead of responding. The whole atmosphere felt unwelcoming and hostile. After I left an honest review on Booking.com, the host replied with what I believe were complete lies, claiming we made "party-level noise" when we hadn't. She took no responsibility for her own unprofessional and hostile behaviour and made up a story to justify how she'd treated us. That dishonest, manipulative response confirmed the kind of person we were dealing with. A clean place doesn't make up for such poor service or a host I feel lacks basic integrity. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else.

Jen's Gateway really is a hidden gem in the Glass House Mountains. The lush greenery, mountain views, and peaceful atmosphere stood out as soon as I arrived. Jen made the stay even better with her warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine care. She shared personal tips about the area and helped us feel at home. The facilities were spotless, especially the spacious, immaculate ensuite, which was thoughtfully laid out for comfort and convenience. Everything was well maintained. Whether you're looking for a quiet break or time surrounded by nature, I'd highly recommend it.
