We used to stay at the motor lodge whenever we visited, and now that we live here we mostly come for the restaurant. The rooms are nice, and guests can get room service; the bar menu is pretty good too. Highlands Restaurant can get busy, and the staff seem rushed, but they’re lovely and helpful. The local steaks are so good, and the portions are huge. You’ve got to try it.

You hardly hear a thing here, the quietest motel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are modern and clean, and the shower pressure is 10/10. Only downside for us, just personal preference, was the bed felt too soft, like trying to move through mud.

We arrived without a booking at 8.15pm and they still found us a room, which was really accommodating. The place was neat as a pin and very comfortable. Easily the best motel in Glen Innes, you won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed it enough to book again for the trip home. Our dog stayed with us in one of the pet friendly rooms, and the restaurant was lovely. Staff in both places were very friendly and nothing felt like too much trouble.

The pool was a hit with the little ones during our family overnight stay in the 3 bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything went smoothly from booking through checkout. Thanks, we’d highly recommend staying here.
