The cabin was spotless and just right for a really laid-back weekend with friends. It was lovely waking to birds everywhere, cattle calling in the distance and the river out front. Such a stunning spot.

The cottages look out over the Barrington River, and Gloucester is only about a five-minute drive away. We had a wonderful, relaxed stay at Barrington Hideaway Cottages with our hiking group. The place was cozy and comfortable, just what we wanted after being outdoors all day. Evenings were spent by the fire pit, talking and cooking together under the stars. Around the property, cows grazed in the distance, white egrets rested in the trees, and we got beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the fields. Mornings came with birdsong. A fantastic peaceful escape for friends, families, or anyone who loves nature. Highly, highly recommended!

A few minutes from Gloucester, and an easy, lovely stay. Sue and Paul were professional and so nice. I couldn't have asked for better.

The cottage was clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and a clean BBQ. There was also strong WiFi, a well-stocked pod coffee machine, fresh honey, and local wine bottles on the bench to buy. A campfire was available too. The cottages sit beside the river in a quiet corner of a rural property, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s just minutes from Gloucester's main street and handy for bush walks and other attractions. 🔥
