Gogeldrie Weir Park

You can get down to the river easily for a swim or some fishing, and there’s a boat ramp close by. It’s a great spot by the weir with camping options for all kinds of setups. Toilets and showers were clean, and there’s a dump point as well. There’s also a large enclosed area you can hire.

Cheap, and probably the best place around here. The owners are really friendly, everything’s clean, and you can do your laundry and pay by card. :)

I arrived very late, but the operators were still pleasant and helpful. I camped without power at the far end, right by the river, and felt very safe there with the restricted access, at least on that end. The bathroom and dunny facilities are available, though I used my own. A really pleasant place.

We had a nice amount of space while camping here with our two dogs for four days. The caretakers were fantastic, and it was a quiet, peaceful spot away from town noise. We tried fishing on the Murrumbidgee, but didn’t catch anything.
