For a place advertised as self-catering, the cookware and utensils need attention. Please remove pots and pans that don’t work with induction cooktops, along with the blunt knives.

The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything we needed in a three-bedroom place. It’s close to everything, and we could walk to the town centre. A couple of things could be better: the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and the third bedroom’s bunks weren’t really suitable for an adult. The lower bunk was basically at floor level, so two single beds might work better. My friend, who booked the place, also had a small issue because the key lock access code didn’t arrive until the day we got there. It could have been sent the day before.

Apartment 6 has a great spot for getting to shops, restaurants and walks on foot, and the living area looks out over the harbour. It’s a spacious, comfortable three-bedroom apartment with all the amenities you need, including a washer and dryer. There’s a shared outdoor area with a BBQ, though no private outdoor seating. The kitchen tap needs replacing because it sprays water everywhere. That was the only issue.

Greg & Jennie were so friendly and helpful during my two-week stay, and I couldn’t fault the place for a relaxing break. My family joined me for Christmas lunch, and everyone was impressed with the apartment and the facilities that helped the day go so well. My brother-in-law absolutely loved the BBQ and did all the cooking. I’ll definitely stay here again for future holidays with my children. Kind regards, and keep up the good work, Helen, Canberra

The room was spotless and comfortable, with a cosy feel. The couple running the place were so welcoming and accommodating, and went above and beyond several times. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re passing through the beautiful town of Merimbula in NSW. Tell them Adam from Virtual Walkabouts sent you, and I’m sure they’d be pleased to have you.
