The price surprised me in the best way, especially after the cramped, run-down room I’d paid about the same for the night before. Here, my room was spacious and spotless, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, even compared with five-star city hotels. I’m staying here during a heat wave, and even though it reached 48.6 locally yesterday, my room stayed comfortable. The view looks over the motel pool to the Murray River, and Helen at reception has gone out of her way to make my stay great. I’m from Queensland and probably won’t be back this way, but I’m so impressed with Mildura Riverview Motel in Gol Gol and the area that I’d happily recommend it.

We slept really well in a spotless, comfortable room that had everything we needed. The riverside setting in Gol Gol, just minutes from Mildura, Victoria, was lovely and peaceful. The staff were welcoming, and the stay was easy from start to finish. Great value, and I’d gladly stay again.

I only planned to stay one night while passing through Mildura on my way from Bundaberg to Kalgoorlie, but ended up staying three. The hosts were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for me. It’s in Gol Gol, about ten minutes from the city, with river views and easy access. Cheap as chips. Highly recommended, I’m gonna be back.

I’m super fussy about cleanliness, and these rooms were spotless with no funky smells. The bed was comfy, and they supplied shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap in proper dispensers, so I didn’t have to fumble with little bottles or packets. From the front upstairs room I had a great view of the river and could watch the boats go by. The motel is on the main highway, but the noise didn’t keep me awake. Couldn’t fault it.

Sitting on the verandah watching the Murray was a highlight of our lovely stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
