The location is great, but the service and facilities were a joke for the premium price. My wife emailed management about our problems and got no reply or offer for the inconvenience. The renovation photos are misleading; the building is poorly maintained. We stayed with the family from 26-31 December 24, and the problems started on arrival. The fire alarm in our room kept beeping, and maintenance took four hours to fix it. The sink was about 90% blocked and took five minutes to drain. The main bed's shower head kept falling out because its broken mount wouldn't hold together, and I had to put it back repeatedly. None of the balcony door locks worked properly, a serious concern with little kids, since the balconies are only 1m wide and have seats they could climb over the balustrade. The air con ran for five minutes then switched itself off. I read the manual and removed any timers I could find, but it was clearly faulty, and we had no air-conditioning for the whole stay.

Being right on the beach was magic, with no road to cross before getting sand between our toes. We had a three-bedroom apartment for four days of theme parks and Gold Coast fun, and it was clean, comfortable and had what our family of five needed. Barry and Jane were lovely and easy to deal with. There was secure underground parking included, a pool with a good shallow area for kids, and a balcony with million-dollar views of the roaring Pacific Ocean. Great value for money. We had plenty of room for our family of four, and it worked perfectly for our trip. The location was ideal, right on the beach, with really good restaurants nearby and the trams close by for getting around the GC.

We had a good time, and the location right on the beach was great. Our one-bedroom apartment was very dated and needs a lot of work. The kitchen needs a LOT of work too. There was no towel rail or toilet roll holder, and just one bedside lamp.

The apartment faced the beach, with lovely views, and it was immaculate, clean and tidy. It was lovely to sit on the balcony, watch the surfers and listen to the crashing waves. Beachside Tower was a wonderful place to stay.
