Capricorn One Beachside Holiday Apartment-Official

Everything was so clean, and we didn't find any roaches, which was a relief. The apartment had a smart TV and two bathrooms, and we really appreciated the free upgrade. The pool, spa and sauna were excellent too. It was in a beautiful spot with amazing views, and most things were within walking distance. We felt very safe at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back with the family. Thank you! ☺️

We had a great stay, with comfy beds, clean rooms and nice staff. The views were spectacular. The facilities were great too, from the big, warm spa and outdoor pool to the tennis court. It's in the heart of surfers paradise and not far from the beach. The internet and kitchen appliances all worked well.

The view from level 13 was amazing, but the apartment itself was disappointing and dirty. We'd booked two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a queen. The place smelled odd, a bedroom light didn't work, and the bathrooms were dirty. The indoor and outdoor pools also seemed quite small. We cancelled after staying one night. We'd booked through an agent, who had made it sound very nice, and hadn't known what to expect. It was far from the main area of surfers paradise, about a 20-minute walk. We paid $1,500 and felt it was a waste. There are much nicer apartments nearer the main area for a lot less. We wanted a refund, but the owner, lisa, charged us for two nights even though we stayed one. The office was closed much of the time, so we couldn't get hold of the manager. I really don't recommend it.

The building is badly run down, and the cleanliness was shocking. Wires were hanging out of fans, the air conditioners were full of dust and mould, and the indoor spa pool was ice cold, not heated at all. The elevators had problems, and there were no lights in the emergency stairwells. It felt like a death trap. We self-checked in four days ago and reception has stayed closed the whole time. It's simply awful and nowhere near worth its rating. I'd have preferred a backpackers. We're moving to a different hotel for the rest of our trip. Shame on the building managers. I hope others find this review helpful and stay well clear of this S HOLE!!
