We gave this place another chance after staying last year, when the cleanliness wasn’t great, partly because Cole’s was right downstairs. This time we paid extra for a sea view room, and the room itself was much nicer, but the cleaning fell short again. Both toilets still had poo stains from the previous guests, the floors hadn’t been cleaned or mopped, and the place felt dirty, which made it uncomfortable. The pillows were like rocks too. We paid $2000 for six days and came away disappointed again, so we’ll choose a different hotel next time. It would also have been fair to tell guests at booking that the pool was closed for maintenance. We arrived to find our children couldn’t swim all week.

I’ve been coming here for a few years because of the location, facilities, great rooms, and family-friendly activities. What keeps bringing me back, though, is Marlee. She checks in on me and my family to make sure we’re alright, and she’s always smiling and happy. With all the chaos of travelling with a family, she makes the move from check-in to getting to the room feel seamless. Her willingness to help and support guests is refreshing and very appreciated. She’s an amazing asset to the company. Thanks, Marlee, for all your support. Our family and friends really appreciate it, and we look forward to dealing with you for many years. Thank you.

The beautiful views across the ocean and city made our stay special. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. A few areas felt a little outdated, but that didn’t spoil an enjoyable, relaxing visit. We’d definitely return.

The coffee shop in the lobby was my first stop every morning. The coffee was beautiful, the guy running it was a laugh a minute, and his barista needs a pay rise. I’d stay here again just for the coffee. We were at Mantra Chevron Towers for seven nights in early November, and despite being a little unsure after reading some reviews, we found it perfect for our stay. We booked through a travel agent, which may have made a difference. Staff were polite, check-in and check-out were easy, and when our 7pm arrival was delayed by a motorway crash, we rang ahead and they put us at ease. Our apartment was clean, tidy, and well stocked, though a little dated and in need of some renovations. We were in Tower 3, 6th Floor, in a 2 Bedroom + 1 Bathroom Apartment overlooking the river. Traffic was a bit noisy, but my wife doesn’t like heights, so the room suited us. The girls loved the lagoon pool and would have stayed in it all day if they could. Coles and several restaurants were in the mall downstairs, all within a five-minute walk. Parking was good once we knew what to do. Staff explained where and how, with easy instructions. Surfers Beach was a quick 10-minute walk, with plenty to see and do. The theme parks and Harbour Town were a 30-minute drive, and easy to get to once you get your bearings. I might pay extra for an ocean view room next time, although the sunsets and evening lightning storms from our room were amazing.
