The apartment was spacious, clean, and had heaps of amenities. Parking spaces were roomy, and the indoor pool and spa were warm enough. There's a sauna too. Sea World is only a few minutes away by car, and the market is within walking distance.

The apartments felt very dated, with stained carpet and stiff, starchy sheets. The indoor pool looked like an infection waiting to happen, while the outdoor pool area was much smaller than the photos suggested. We couldn't use any of the facilities because of the renovation work, and the drilling went on constantly all week, loudly enough to shake our windows. We were paying $200 a night and asked about compensation, but got a shrug and “it is, what it is.” I was disgusted with Ocean Sands. Management should have told guests about the disruption before bookings; if we'd known, I would have stayed elsewhere instead of having our whole Gold Coast trip ruined. It's extremely overpriced, and they don't care about their guests. Do not stay here.

Tedder Avenue is a lovely spot, with views toward the Broadwater and Hinterland. This is a nice 5 star residential Resort, with indoor and outdoor pools, spas, and steam rooms. The building is older, but the rooms are sleek, modern, and easy to keep clean.

The 8th floor apartment was amazing, with a nice view. Food and coffee are less than a five minute walk away. Highly recommend this place to stay on the Goldcoast Qld.

Jenny and her team really went above and beyond to look after us. Our room was very clean and the facilities were excellent. I'd recommend them to everyone.
