Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport

We had a great time here both times our family stayed, and we'd definitely come back. The hotel is fantastic, close to the airport, and has a free shuttle. The room was neat and very clean, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for working on your gadgets. Staff were accommodating, especially at the front desk. Shyla was really nice and good with people, and I liked the others too. We also enjoyed the restaurant. The food was very nice, and staff greeted us at the door, showed us to a table, and were friendly. There was an Asian man who was very polite and nice, though I don't see him around anymore, and a teenage girl with big eyes whose presence I liked.

It's a practical, reasonably comfortable place for a short stay if convenience and value are what you need. The hotel has a motel-style layout around a pool and sunbathing area, with a relaxed feel, gated entry, and parking outside each room. Check-in and checkout were quick. The rooms are comfortable enough, though showing their age and ready for some updating. Breakfast wasn't part of my booking, and the standard breakfast costs $22, but several fast food places nearby make a quick bite easy. A taxi from the airport is around $50, though Uber is noticeably cheaper. The hotel also has a free shuttle, which makes getting to and from the airport easier if you know about it.

I stayed one night before flying and would come back. The room was clean, tidy, and more than adequate, and I enjoyed a meal with very good service and food at the restaurant. Reception staff were helpful, as was the courtesy van driver. The ride to and from the airport took only 15 minutes at peak time. The only downside for the star rating is that the building is older and tired.

Check-out the next morning was quick and smooth, which helped with my early schedule.
