Ocean View 2-bed Studio In the Heart of Surfers

Housekeeping and front desk service were outstanding, warm and professional, and the food was delicious and well prepared. Chef kane deserves a special mention for being accommodating and making sure we had a great dining experience. My stay at Mantra on View Hotel was wonderful from start to finish, thanks in large part to the friendly, helpful staff. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on a return to the Gold Coast.

The hotel is beautiful and well located, close to all the amenities. But the reception staff I dealt with were unhelpful. My key card wouldn't open the gym and they did nothing to help. They also wouldn't let me leave my bags for a while on departure day, something every other hotel I've used allows.

The room had a fantastic beach view, and room service was great. The TV worked and had Foxtel, which meant the kids could watch what they wanted. The buffet was good and had options for vegetarians. Staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the location was excellent, with the beach less than two minutes away and shops, arcades and escape rooms nearby. Staying at Mantra on View was amazing. I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

The ocean view and location were nice, but for what we paid, our weekend at Mantra on View Hotel felt pretty average. The room didn't seem very clean or well maintained: the air-conditioning vent was dusty and the bathroom taps leaked. We booked partly because it was in the Accor group and expected a better standard. Overall it didn't feel worth the money, and I'd probably only stay again if there were no other options.
