The location was good, but that’s about all. The place felt more like two stars, and the apartment was generally dirty with cracked bathroom tiles. We paid almost $3,000 for four nights, which felt well below average value. Also, if you smoke, don’t pay extra for a balcony, because smoking isn’t allowed there. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had a few days away together, just my daughter and me, and booked only a week ahead. We got an excellent deal for three nights. The apartment was great, with a view over the pool and a bit of ocean. It’s not a huge high rise, which we liked, and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend.

I like staying at this hotel every holiday. It’s so cool, and I really like the rooms. The two beds are great, and so are the kitchen and TV.

The apartment felt old, and the bathrooms, beds and kitchen all need a revamp. The lift made me wonder if it might stop at any moment, and since there’s only one, waits can be a bit long. We paid far more than I thought it was worth, even though it was the busiest time of year. The location and views were good, but the pool is very deep. I think the shallow end is 1.2m, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young kids. The rooftop spa was out of action.

The rest of the resort looked quite nice, and the service was friendly and helpful. But we were in ground-floor apartment 102, facing the street, with no garden or privacy at all, so the blinds stayed shut the entire time. Check you’re not put in that unit. The toiletries were minimal too, just two tiny squares of paint-stripper soap and a tube of detergent that was supposedly conditioning shampoo. The location is great and hard to beat, but the place is just quite nice, nothing flash.
