Royal Pacific Resort

The staff were consistently warm and professional, and getting around was easy, with shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and a bus stop right outside. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay, with parking for one car, a heated pool, spa and sauna. I'd recommend it for a restful getaway. 😇🫶😇

After checking out of Royal Pacific Biggera waters, I found an unexplained $125 charge on my card several days later. My bill had been paid in full before I arrived on 10 December, and there was no invoice or authorisation for the extra charge. I caused no damage and wasn't given the room service I was entitled to once a week during my 11-night stay. This has never happened to me in all my trips to the Gold Coast, elsewhere in Australia or overseas. Charging guests after departure without consent feels like fraud, so I've had to dispute it with ANZ Bank because the hotel gave no justification. Customer service was extremely poor, with no transparency and unprofessional conduct. My mother also noticed the fridge's vegetable basket was cracked. There was a lot of dust behind and under the beds despite my request for a thorough clean. I let those things go because arguing with reception was emotionally exhausting, especially while on holiday and trying to relax.

The beachfront location is central and convenient in the Gold Coast. Restaurants and shops are a two-minute drive away, and it's about 15-20 minutes to Surfer Paradise or the theme parks, and 40 minutes to the airport.

My mother, sister and I had a fantastic time at Royal Pacific Resort in Biggera Waters. The resort was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the lovely location had a relaxing feel that suited a getaway. Staff were helpful and friendly, and management was professional and attentive, keeping everything running smoothly. I'd absolutely recommend staying here and would come back.
