The location is handy for the Star Casino across the road, and Broadbeach’s dining area is about a 10 minute walk away. We also had good shower pressure, a comfortable bed and an amazing balcony view from a high floor. The building feels old and badly in need of improvement. Parking is very limited for the number of rooms, so the chance of getting a spot seems under 20%. On Sundays the staff leave after 3pm, which means there’s nobody onsite if you run out of toilet paper. Reception calls go to someone offsite who won’t come in. The air con wasn’t powerful enough for the room, and there were hairs in the bathroom when we first went in. The room wasn’t cleaned to the standard I’d expect from a hotel, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location worked really well, near the casino and an easy walk to the beach. The front desk woman was very helpful and accommodating, and we appreciated the last minute stay. It’s budget accommodation, though: the room was average, dated and could use new carpet. Getting in and out of the shower felt unsafe, and I think it needs handrails.

The apartment needs a proper clean and some repairs. There were ants all through it, the carpet was very dusty, and the sliding doors were coming off. We also encountered one of the rudest receptionists we’ve ever dealt with, who seemed like she hated her job. The location was great, but the apartment itself was disappointing.

We had a relaxing stay in a spacious room with good equipment. It was comfortable, clean and in a convenient spot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d happily come back.
