Reception and management were really warm and welcoming, and we were kindly upgraded from a regular two bedroom apartment to the huge spa apartment. It felt like a house inside. Great value too, with lovely views from level 7. The building is showing its age, though it’s being renovated in stages. Thanks to management for a lovely stay!

A classic older high rise right by the heart of Surfers, with good sized apartments. Parking can be a little tight.

The apartment was comfortable, with good kitchen and bathroom facilities, and the size, location, view and price were all good. The shower over the spa bath was awkward to climb in and out of. Light came through the curtains above the bed from 4:50am. Some websites say the Wi-Fi is free, but it actually costs per day or hour. That feels pretty old school, and I’m not sure why it isn’t included.

The room quality was really disappointing. The dryer didn’t work, the dishwasher handle was broken, and the hot water lasted no more than 10 minutes. In winter, how was my family of five supposed to shower in that time? When we raised it, staff didn’t seem to care. They said the hot water system was small, blamed us, and said we should have booked two rooms. I’m very annoyed and won’t stay here again.

This is a rental apartment, not the hotel or resort it’s made out to be, and the photos are trick shots. I was extremely disappointed. The amenities are around three star, but the condition is more like two. Paint is peeling, and the air conditioners, skirting boards, cushions and blankets don’t get cleaned. It doesn’t deserve four stars. It looks like no capital spending has gone into the property for years. They need to keep up with the times and maintain the accommodation.
