I remembered this as a beautiful place to stay, but the room was dirty, smelly and untidy. We checked in and left straight away. I complained to the owners, though they don't speak English, and got no refund, so the money was wasted.

The manager knew the town well and pointed us to a good restaurant. Service was great, the price was good, and the place was comfortable. It's near town too. Thanks, we'll see you again soon.

It was quiet, with restaurants, cafes, bars, takeaways, shops and the main strip all within walking distance. Parking was available, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room stayed warm on cold nights, and had a comfy bed, Smart TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board. Tea, coffee and biscuits were there too. I'll be back.

The pool was green and full of putrid sludge. If it can't be maintained, it should be drained. The room furniture was chipped, the chairs felt unstable, and the fridge seal was practically nonexistent. The aircon took an hour to start working. This doesn't feel like a four-star place now, though maybe it did ten years ago.

They cancelled my booking without telling me and gave the room to someone paying $1500. I had booked a year ahead for three nights at the confirmed rate of $1100. That's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They seem to put profit ahead of confirmed reservations, and I wouldn't recommend staying here if you need reliable service.
