The Pier House

Nothing was a problem, and communication was great. The place was warm, clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Thank you!

What made our stay so memorable was Ben. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed and pointed us toward great places to visit. His stories and knowledge of Bruny Island, and how much he clearly loves it, really added to the experience. Thanks to Ben and the team for such terrific service, and to Dippa and his lovely family for their generosity and hospitality on our first night. The location overlooking the inlet, with a private jetty and so many beautiful sights, beaches and walks nearby, was magical. Pier House itself was inviting, with rustic charm and an excellent kitchen, including a cafe-standard coffee machine.

Wallabies sometimes wander around the property, and the owner has flyers with ideas for activities on Bruny Island if you want to get out. We were just as happy enjoying the quiet around Pier House. The rooms and property were clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen had the essentials for simple meals. The internet can be patchy, though on an island getaway that felt like a bonus rather than a big deal 😜

The view was wonderful, and the whole place was beautifully clean. You can tell real thought went into the design and layout, and the kitchen was both well equipped and spotless. We were so happy staying at Pier House and would definitely return and recommend it.
