The views over nature were beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved our two nights at The Hide on Cloudy, especially the kitchen for making dinner. The house was impeccable and thoughtfully equipped, from the laundry, kitchen and bathrooms to firewood for both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Thank you, Wina, for all the thoughtful, generous preparations that made our stay absolutely perfect.

The only small gripe is the bathroom basin. The beautiful rock-like sink is too small to use comfortably, and the tap gets in the way. It’s a minor thing, though. The accommodation was delightful on a delightful island, smart, clean and well appointed. Having the bedrooms separated also gave the two couples a good degree of privacy. Thoroughly recommended!

Fresh, warm sourdough in the mailbox was such a lovely touch. We had the best stay at the Hide, with stunning views and an amazing bed and bath. Thank you, John and Jenene, and Mikey, the cutest dog, for the warmest hospitality. Such a lovely way to finish our trip on Bruny island!

A really peaceful spot to unwind and take in the stunning Bruny Island scenery. The Hide on Cloudy is a gem, modern, beautifully clean and Wina was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

We had a warm, relaxing four-day stay at the Hide. The cabin was tidy, clean and well insulated. One bedroom is detached and has its own ensuite, which gives you a lot of privacy when staying with friends or family. We’d highly recommend it.
