Inside, the room was clean and had everything you need. Outside, the place was extremely run down and badly needed attention, and the pool was empty. They asked $120 and I got it for $110, but with the complex in that condition, I thought $80 was closer to a fair price. The sign advertises an award-winning restaurant, though it doesn't say what year that award was from.

It used to be a good, quiet stop off the highway, which made the state of things disappointing. The grounds looked neglected and the pool was empty and dirty. Inside, the motel unit door was coming apart and stuck when I tried to open it. There was just one TV channel, the fridge hadn't been switched on, and only one mug was provided. I also wasn't given the right instructions for using the key lockbox. It definitely didn't seem well managed.

The air conditioner was the only thing in the room that worked. The TV had sound but no picture, there were no plates or bowls, and supplies amounted to one tea bag, one coffee sachet and a couple of sugar packets. The carpet was dirty and stained, the room smelled damp, and the bathroom was bad enough that you had to hold your breath. There was nobody at reception, so I booked and paid over the phone. The smoke alarm had no battery and wasn't working. I give this place zero stars.

The pool was empty and green, the gardens and surrounds weren't maintained, and the place was a mess. The bathroom drain smelled, and the BBQ was covered in cobwebs with no gas. There were no security cameras, nobody in attendance, and the restaurant hadn't been open for some time, as far as I could tell. In the room there was one tea bag, one coffee sachet, one dinner plate, one bread plate, and one spare pillow. The TV didn't work. Never again. I'm not happy.
