For the price, it’s great value, and I’d recommend staying here. We were there for a couple of nights and slept well on the nice firm mattress. The room was clean. Hot water at the basin takes a little while to come through, and the microwave could do with an update, but neither was a big deal.

Plenty of parking and a fantastic shower. It’s a clean, tidy motel in a great spot right in town, with everything within walking distance.

I was here overnight for work, and the shops and pubs were only a short walk away. The shower got nice and hot. The mattress was firm, and the pillows were soft.

There’s plenty of space to park a trailer out of other guests’ way, which makes this a convenient stop if you’re travelling with one.

At $150 a night, this was very poor. We stayed two nights in a queen room. The firm bed was comfortable, but the room needs TLC (Tender Loving Care = maintenance !). There was no hanging rail in the wardrobe, and although it had a microwave and toaster, there were no plates or cutlery. There weren’t any wine glasses either, which seemed odd in the middle of a region renowned for its vineyards. The manager "fixed" the lack of hot water after we checked in mid afternoon, when there wasn’t much. The next evening there was no hot water for showers, so we boiled the kettle and washed. Wi Fi failed on the second day and we couldn’t reconnect. The bathroom needs maintenance, as do some sections of the concrete outside the rooms, which could be trip hazards.
