Even on the main street through town, this motel was quiet, and the air conditioning was quiet too. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious, with comfortable chairs and good lighting. The host was welcoming, and the location was convenient, close to a club serving excellent meals. There's free Netflix if the TV options don't appeal. One downside: stairs lead to the upper level, and our room's shower pressure was fairly poor.

The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The styling felt a little dated, though that's in line with most accommodation in the area. Having all the streaming services on the TV was a plus, since I could pick up where I'd left off at home. Good for a couple of nights if you're in the area for work.

We were in Gunnedah for a funeral, which wasn't a happy reason to visit, but Maynestay gave us a clean, comfortable and quiet place to relax and unwind each afternoon and night. The owners were friendly, welcoming and easygoing, and the rooms were extremely comfortable and clean.

Reception was friendly and helpful, and it was an easy short walk to the RSL Club for dinner. The room had parking right outside the door, a good-sized fridge and microwave, and a large bathroom. The air conditioning worked excellently, the beds were very comfy with crisp white sheets, and there were snow-white bath towels plus two face washers, which aren't always provided. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I've stayed at many motels, and Maynestay ranks among the best. The service was fabulous and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with everything you need and very well stocked. I'll definitely be back.
