The staff and management were what made this stay especially easy. They were welcoming, friendly and ready to help with anything. The room was comfortable, modern and very clean, with air conditioning, free WiFi and a smart TV, which was great after a long day. It had been beautifully updated. Shops, cafes and restaurants are just a short walk away, right in the centre of town. Great value and service, and I’d happily return to the Royal Hotel Gympie.

Mary St puts you right in the centre of town, with several places to eat, Goldfields plaza and a nice park all within a block or so. The building has a romantic old world charm, and there’s plenty for guests, including laundry facilities, a gym, lounge and kitchen. The rooms are quiet and secure, the place is very clean and good value, and the staff are caring and kind. Easily the best place to stay in Gympie.

Our family of four had a great two-night stay. The rooms were spacious, recently renovated and well maintained, with good insulation that kept things quiet enough for us all to sleep well. The food was amazing and good value, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
