Panorama 13 worked really well for our family, after many visits to Hamilton Island. The place is laid out across four levels over two storeys, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has aircon and ceiling fans in every room, a large lounge TV and smaller TVs in both bedrooms. There’s a proper kitchen and laundry, plus a buggy of its own, which was a bonus. The main balcony has a BBQ, and there’s another private one off the master bedroom. It’s duplex style with a shared wall, but soundproof enough that we didn’t hear the neighbours. The Panorama complex also has its own pool for residents. Great accommodation for a family.

The view from this three-level holiday home is incredible, with balconies on two levels and often beautiful sunsets. Having our own golf buggy made it easy to explore the island. Inside, there are two lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, aircon and fans throughout, plus a big comfy sofa for watching TV. A few DVDs and books were there too. The place has everything needed to self-cater, including a good Weber BBQ. We had everything we could want and an amazing stay.

The apartment is a bit old, but the space more than makes up for it. The main living area feels spacious with its raked ceiling, and the view is superb. Two bedrooms can comfortably work for 4-5 people, depending on who gets the couch. Having a kitchenette was a real plus since eating out every meal gets tiring, and some places weren’t exactly a culinary experience. The washing machine was handy too, so I could pack much less for my 1 week trip before heading to airlie, where there was no washing machine. Buggy hire and a few water sports were included. At 20% off, it was a no brainer. Good value all round.

It was comfortable apart from the main bedroom and bathroom setup. That area needs updating, with some kind of wall between the bedroom and bathroom, and a shower in there too.

A very good place to stay, and I’d recommend it. Just be aware that it’s two storeys with lots of stairs. Great if you’re fit, but could be a problem if you struggle with stairs.
