Curringa Farm

This was my favourite experience in Tasmania. My family booked in May, and we loved everything from the chickens roaming around to the starry night sky and the farm tour. Jane took us around and taught us about the farm, which we really enjoyed. Thank you, and the jam was excellent.

If you want to get away from it all, Curringa Farm is the place. Our cabin was immaculate, and the views as we walked in were stunning. We also paid for the BBQ dinner package, which was really tasty, especially the homemade apple crumble. It had a real wow factor for us. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We joined the farm tour from 9:45 to 12:30pm, and this was my second visit to bring family to curringa farm. Tim, a seventh-generation member of the farming family, was a wonderful farmer and guide. His passion came through as he showed us planting seeds, a dog demonstration and shearing. We loved shepherd dogs Billy and Rocky. Tim even knows some Chinese words and made sure everyone could understand what he was sharing about farming 🤣. Greatest farm tour ever!

Our family of four children had a memorable two-night stay at Curringa Farm in Tasmania, and the kids were genuinely sad to leave. The beautiful Curringa Cottage had stunning lake views and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Sophie was warm and welcoming, and knew a lot as she guided us around the farm. We fed Scottish highland cows and watched Billy dog round up the sheeps. Tim was friendly too, and the kids loved learning about sheep shearing. We especially enjoyed the evening BBQs in our own cottage and Jane’s delicious homemade scones. The whole stay felt homely and special, and we’ll definitely be back.
