Tread Harcourt

We had a great night's sleep in the clean, tidy rooms, which have a modern design, good fittings and comfy beds. The little fire pit outside was a nice place to have a beer and chat with other guests. We stayed with an MTB cycling crew, and the facilities worked well for the riders and their families. Goldfields Track Cafe is on site and had great food and coffee. For cyclists, there are wall-mounted bike racks in the rooms, shared recovery gear like foam rollers and mats, and Tread gives useful cycling advice. It made a fantastic base for our trip.

Paula and Andrew were great hosts. They were happy to chat about bikes and gave us useful tips for tracks to ride. The rooms are simple and clean, with what you need when most of your day is spent out riding. A perfect little place for a trip to the Harcourt MTB Park. We'll definitely be back soon!

Enza was a wonderful host, communicated well, and was flexible. The rates were very reasonable, and the place was spotlessly clean. The rooms are small but just right for what you need while riding the Harcourt MTB park, about 2 kilometers up the rd. There’s a great outdoor sitting area, plus a shared kitchen and laundry if needed. The café and restaurant next door are handy, and the BP servo up the rd has early coffee and food. Get a group together and stay here, it’ll be worth your while.

We were four riders staying over Easter 2014, and not one of us had a complaint. Andrew and Paula have taken over a run-down place, but their vision and enthusiasm should turn it into a terrific bike hub for the region, and surely a sought-after spot for mountain bikers. Thanks for the hospitality and very useful advise. I'm sure we'll return. Book early for the Saturday night restaurant meal, it's not to be missed.
