I wanted an affordable motel on the Esplanade, and that's what I got. The room was a standard motel size, with a newly tiled bathroom, though the beds were a bit too soft. Cafes, restaurants and shops are all an easy walk away. Four stars because it basically delivered what I was looking for.

We were travelling through for work and spent one night here with our two little dogs. The beach is right across the road, and we watched a magnificent sunset. It's a hotel, so you get what you pay for. The room was very clean, the beds were comfy, and pets are allowed. Kirsty was excellent, polite and friendly.

We had a really nice stay in a dog-friendly room. It was clean and comfortable, with a full-size fridge and microwave. The motel has ocean views and is in a genuinely dog-friendly spot, with miles of lovely walks along the Esplanade or beach right outside. A great base for exploring the district.

The host was so welcoming, and we wish we'd stayed longer. The rooms were well serviced, with off-street parking and the beach straight across the road. Excellent restaurants are only a short walk away, along well-lit paths, and there are electric scooters if you want them. We'll definitely return, thank you!

The owners and management are lovely and welcoming, and were happy to help with anything we needed. This was our second stay here with our dog, and once again it was comfortable and relaxing. The premises are well maintained, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Each unit has a nice space out front to sit in the sun. It's perfectly located across from the beach, which is dog friendly too. Looking forward to coming back soon. 10/10.
